Most of the aisles in the store had been emptied out so much that they weren't even open to the mid-aisle cut through at this point, so it too was almost fully blocked off. Whatever was in those couple aisles in the middle of the store mustn't have been selling so well, though, as the employees had built a second barricade to allow people to pass between them but not into any of the other aisles. The greeting cards must have been selling better than I would have expected, though, as that aisle was one of the emptied and closed ones.

  1. That's surprising, as it seems like grocery stores can never get rid of the remaining greeting cards during a liquidation!

    1. Exactly! Maybe they just moved them to somewhere else in the store, though I'm surprised they even sold enough to do that!
