Aisle 1? More like endcap 1!

Case in point -- this scene looking in to (what used to be) aisle 1. Someone pulled a spare endcap from somewhere and stuck it into the entrance to the aisle, with the aisle's former contents squeezed down onto it and the neighboring permanent endcap displays.

  1. Ha, that is funny! I will admit, I don't think I've been to many grocery store liquidations, so perhaps it is a little unusual for them to consolidate merchandise after all...

    1. Like I said on the last picture, consolidating the fixtures seemed like the weirdest part to me! But I haven't been to too many grocery store closings either (there haven't been a ton around here lately, as QFC had a big closing wave a while back and Albertsons/Safeway dropped most of their bad stores via the whole Haggen disaster), so who knows...
