With the inside Starbucks open, the strange outside one is now closed (so I guess it was operated by Fred Meyer after all!). The space out front is being used to store part of this store's huge collection of carts -- when it got a whole fleet of new carts at the start of the remodel, none of the old ones seem to have been removed, so this store now has tons of carts of all different styles, some presumably dating back to the store's opening. I guess Fred Meyer's just waiting for the inevitable cart thefts to thin their numbers...
