All of the checkouts in the front of the store have their new light cubes now, showing how four of them have disappeared in the remodel. It's certainly not unusual for stores -- especially Krogers -- to drop regular checkouts, but it does seem a little strange at this store, which is often busy enough to have most checkouts open plus long lines at all of the self checkout pods.
