The new dairy department has also opened up in the last couple weeks, and unlike what I had inferred from the plans, it's just holding regular dairy items that had been in the main case along the back wall. Still not sure what's up with that -- while some of the refrigerated endcaps along the back wall have been removed, this still seems to be a dramatic expansion of the dairy department with no corresponding expansion in selection. Meanwhile, the drum sign still sits blank over the new department -- I definitely would have expected them to install the lettering before opening the department to customers, but who knows what they're doing...
