One of the obvious changes was the installation of free EV chargers in the parking lot -- certainly a nice thing to see, if a bit strange. They came with these big kiosks that were being used to show Safeway ads (and which I initially assumed were part of the Drive Up and Go system). Not sure what the business model is here (they're operated by a private company, and I'm not sure where their money is coming from), but can't complain -- most of our cars at work are electric, and they're quite nice to drive! I still don't have any interest in owning a car myself, but it would certainly be nice to see more EVs out there...
