The building, and honestly the whole complex it's in, certainly has a rather funky aesthetic to it, perfect for an upscale natural foods store. The exterior is actually about the most original part of this store, though its potential was actually kind of wasted in the QFC days, with the second-story solarium being home to store offices rather than doing anything for the salesfloor.

I'm starting something new here -- music recommendations! Unfortunately, the way I listen to music doesn't tend to lend itself to frequent, mixed playlists like what most other people I see on here tend to do, so instead, I'm planning on doing monthly album/artist recommendations. Up first is probably my all-time favorite band, a Canadian band called Beast that only ever put out one album back in 2007. I tend to listen to relatively obscure music (or at least that's what all my friends tell me, some of you seem to know most of the bands I listen to), but this is pushing it even further -- only one of their songs, Mr. Hurricane, seems to have ever gotten any publicity, so it's probably even too generous to call them a one hit wonder! Anyways, like I said, I'm planning on doing this every month from now on -- and it should get at least a little bit less obscure from here 🙂
