Just like with the latest QFC decor, I've managed to dig up quite a few sets of decor plans for the Marketplace decor as used in Fred Meyer. Sadly, they're not quite as nice as the ones from QFC (I haven't found any full-color ones yet), but still, should be interesting to see! Plus, the blog format should work much better for this than the Flickr format did...
First up is the store in Canby, Oregon. This store was remodeled in 2017 -- around the same time as the Overlake store we just saw. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be many post-remodel pictures on Google Maps to check up on what it actually looks like post remodel.
Next up is the Redondo (west Kent, WA) store. This one hasn't begun renovation yet, so hopefully it will actually happen like these plans imply 🙂. For some reason, Fred Meyer uses a different design company for their Oregon and Washington stores, which is why these plans look much different than than the last set.
Finally, this is the Covington, WA store, which is basically the same story as the Redondo one. Interestingly, both of the Washington ones currently have the oval decor, which is the second most recent one, so it's a surprise to see them remodeling already. I guess the Marketplace decor probably isn't going anywhere soon! Meanwhile, it's about time for Safeway to start remodeling stores, I'd say...
Anyways, that's it for today. Hopefully at least some other people out there find these as interesting as I do! See you all again tomorrow when I start my new normal posting schedule.
