This store was built in 1955... and it's pretty clear, even from this first picture, that it's seen better days. Despite being located in one of the most pretentious, wealthy neighborhoods in Seattle, this store clocks in at less than 20,000 square feet (making it one of the smallest mainstream grocery stores in the city) and has seen effectively no upgrades in an extremely long time - so much so that it has virtually nothing in the city permitting system that I constantly rely on for information.
