This store has clothing in an unusual position in the middle of the store. Admittedly, I don't know where the clothes department was pre-remodel, as it couldn't have been in its normal place behind groceries as the grocery departments were not moved.
We'll be back to the clothing section towards the end of this series, but this does appear to be the best picture of the shoe section that I got. It's also notable how much less upscale-looking the clothes department is here -- they did use carpeting, but there is no drop ceiling, and the fixtures don't look nearly as nice as in most Fred Meyer clothing departments. However, this store did retain a large clothing department, something that is no longer the case in all but the largest Fred Meyer stores.
