This store has a very spacious back aisle, which is home to the meat and dairy departments. I love how Marketplace decor has all sorts of patterns and graphics to fill up all the blank space along the back wall here -- that's something that I always have an issue with in almost every decor package out there, across brands. Not sure why Marketplace decor tends to use different wall colors for the service and self-serve parts of the meat department, though...
Presumably, that giant beam between meat and dairy is the edge of the new addition. Kroger seems to have done a pretty good job of unifying the old and new portions of this store... helps that the old part was already pretty nice for such an old store, I'm sure.
