This is quite a nice-looking store, and I'm glad CVS/Fresh & Easy/Andronico's decided to leave the architecture as is from Albertsons (or whoever it was that initially built this store). It's hard to say whether they wanted to build a fancy-looking store to appeal to the higher-end neighborhood, or if they were forced to make it look like this by San Francisco's infamous permitting process! It's a much nicer design than I'm used to seeing from retail chains forced to comply with ridiculous suburban design requirements, so I'm inclined to think it's the former. The current color scheme, dating back to the CVS/Fresh & Easy subdivision, is quite nice too. (In fact, it's almost the same color scheme that my parents chose for their house, just a little more subdued!)
