This store has a heck of a sporting goods section, especially considering it's in the suburbs rather than out in the country! American Walmarts, even in places like Port Angeles, don't seem to have nearly as much outdoorsy stuff as this any longer (I remember the old Port Angeles Walmart having a pretty big selection, but that was one of the departments that actually shrunk when they moved into their larger new store). Probably more interesting to my audience, the aisle markers are no longer present now that we've turned the corner to the right actionway, and have been replaced by small department signs with a prominent line-drawn icon, extremely reminiscent of the signs that Airport is known for. I feel like Walmart's American decor designers must have taken direct inspiration from these Walmart Canada signs!
