From further along the back actionway, here's an overview of the whole meat section, with the liquor department barely visible in the background. This seems like an odd place to put the discount bakery rack! Safeway has finally started doing these, but they keep them in or near the regular bakery section.
My local Randall's puts their bakery markdown rack in the dairy alcove. That is in the rear left of the store when the bakery is in the front right of the store, so on the complete opposite side! The Krogers around here do not have a consistent place for the bakery markdowns. Actually, a few Krogers here put their bakery markdowns near the dairy case as well, but that's usually not as far from the bakery as it is at my local Randall's.
