Adjacent to the escalator running up, the far end of the glass tube that we saw from outside plunges down to the ground floor. It's quite a dramatic look, and you have plenty of time to appreciate it while standing on the slow-moving escalator. I've been calling it the "express" escalator, but it's probably the slowest way to get to the top floor since people rarely walk on escalators of this length. Oh well, that just means more chances for the from-the-escalator photos I like so much!
