I often hear people grumbling about how airports these days look like malls. Well, to me, this mall looks a bit like an airport! That's mostly because of the very prominent escalators, but also, it's unusual for me to be in a modern, large, open, indoor space like this that's anything other than an airport. It's not like there are a lot of new-build malls in the US, and other types of buildings rarely have this sort of wide open space.
