Just because the restaurants are almost all chains doesn't mean they're all boring. Ramen is starting to become a common sight in the US (at least on the west coast), but I doubt there are many American malls with Persian restaurants. Meanwhile, in the Vancouver area, it seems like almost every successful mall has a Cazba in its food court! (And yes, I probably did take this picture mostly because I like the tile on their service counter.)
