On the plus side, they finally took down the mattress department signs from the relocated appliance department, over a year after it was moved from the closed third floor. Unsurprisingly, they didn't replace them with anything, leaving a bunch of blank walls... but this is Sears, where even the bare minimum effort is worth praise. They had also completely rearranged the appliance department over the past year, with the laundry and refrigeration sections trading places and some actual wall displays taking the place of the excessive chest freezers.
