It's definitely odd to see the meat cases right next to the juice section! The deli-style mid-height case is also unusual for Safeway's meat departments; it seems to be primarily used for packaged deli meats. The Shop & Score signs are part of Safeway's Seahawks marketing I mentioned earlier; I bet we'll be seeing more of that in the coming weeks now that they've won another Super Bowl!
I don't know if you watch football, but congrats on Seattle winning the Super Bowl! They've certainly become one of the more dominant franchises in the NFL since they moved to their new stadium and since moving to the NFC from the AFC. I suppose running from the Kingdome was justified after all, lol.
ReplyDeleteHa, I was out enjoying nature while the Super Bowl was on, but I've certainly heard all about it! It's weird to hear the Seahawks described as "dominant", though... I feel like they've had a lot more bad years than good ones (and it's been a decade since the last time they were any good)!
