I doubt much of what you see in this scene has changed in the last five years, but one thing you definitely won't see today is a Russell Wilson jersey like the produce stocker was wearing! It wasn't long after this that he decided to burn all of the goodwill he had built up in Seattle by moving to Denver, before completely imploding when he got there. After a few mediocre years, Seattle now has another star quarterback... we'll see in a little under a week how that goes!

Ha, my favorite team, the New York Giants, didn't get the message about Russell Wilson being cooked 4-5 years ago and signed him to a contract for this current season. The Russell Wilson experiment didn't last long, just a few games and then they decided to turn to a rookie from Ole Miss, Jaxson Dart, who played much better. You probably won't see many Russell Wilson jerseys in New York either, or Denver and Pittsburgh!
ReplyDeleteI would say I'm surprised teams keep hiring Russell, but the Seahawks' current star quarterback Darnold is on his fourth team in as many years, so you never know what's going to happen! I'm surprised to hear you're a Giants fan, though... never would have guessed that!
DeleteHa, yeah, I don't root for the local teams, lol. The Giants are my football team, the LA Clippers are my favorite basketball team, and the San Jose Sharks are my favorite hockey team. My favorite teams are pretty much all over the country, lol.
