Bulk candies

 

I was quite surprised to see that this store had been fully stocked with halloween candy, despite closing well before the holiday. The closure was announced way back in August, so I would be surprised if this had been shipped out before then! But Kroger does tend to keep their grocery closures low-key, seemingly preferring to ship merchandise out to other stores rather than selling it on clearance, so maybe that was the plan here. And I guess they needed something to fill up the bulk foods section -- I'm not sure if that was a casualty of the closing or if it had been long gone (like bulk foods sections in most stores) and they just never took down the signs.
