The left side of the store is generally pretty standard for Northwest Safeways, with the deli in the front corner and the bakery in the back, divided by liquor. But this view feels like a bit of a blast from the past, with a wide actionway running along the wall, filled with bakery displays. Most Washington Safeways had this space colonized by additional liquor shelving when the state allowed liquor sales in grocery stores, but further south, nothing ever changed -- at least at stores like this one what haven't been remodeled.
