Cheese and juice

This upstairs area was mostly employee space, but unlike at a lot of stores, it is open to the public -- as you can see in the reflection on the right, this is where the restrooms are (and I think that's why I came up here right away at the start of this visit!), and there's also a mostly-disused cafe space. I always love being able to get views from above like this, even if the layout means that only a small slice of the salesfloor is actually visible from here.

Oh, and by the way, this is post number 8,000 on the blog! I'm glad it turned out to be a cool view like this one and not just another boring Walmart or mall picture. I had been kind of hoping that milestone would come after my trip so I could have a travel post for a change, but that wasn't going to happen this time. Since post 7,000 last October, my backlog has gone down by another 400 pictures to around 4,800, and I'm sure it will only continue trending in that direction -- still, that's over 50% of the photos I've ever posted, so the backlog won't go away anytime soon! Also of interest, it took nearly 11 months to get from 7,000 to 8,000, when it should be more like 10 months -- clearly my February trip took a big chunk out of what I was able to post this year.
