Surprisingly enough, when I headed out, there were actually people hanging out on the second-story balcony! It's a little odd that they decided to put the outdoor seating on the second floor while the indoor cafe seating was on the third floor, but it's still cool that this exists at all.
Anyway, that's it for this store! I'm still not really sure what's so extra about Safeway Extra, apart from perhaps the extra-bizarre layout, but this is still a pretty cool place, and a lot more interesting than most newer Safeways on the Albertsons side of the border.
