When Airport first came out, Walmart talked up its clear and easy-to-read design intended to make wayfinding easier. This is, uh, not that. I don't remember seeing anything quite this bad in other stores, so maybe this is an early-remodel issue or a problem with the shrunken signs this store has, but the low contrast and obnoxious faux-corrugated effect make this sign difficult to read even up close! Of course, it's probably all but impossible to see it from a distance, thanks to the tall shelving that comes close to the ceiling of this store.
