Circles versus squares

Unfortunately, this was the best picture I managed to get of the original cylindrical register lights at the normal lanes (I do have a somewhat better picture from the second store I ever photographed). For a QFC in 2018, this place looks like a 2020s Safeway here, with nowhere near enough registers open and lines backing up down the aisles!
