Strangely enough, health and beauty items (the core of a drugstore!) seem to have been the ones that were the most poorly stocked. Maybe those companies were the first to notice Rite Aid's financial issues and stop offering friendly terms for sales and credit. By this time in 2023, it shouldn't have been a COVID-era supply chain thing any more, with things having long since gone back to normal at most stores.
