Remember back in 2021, when curbside pickup at a department store (other than Sears, which was way ahead of the curve on these things) was so novel that it was worth taking a picture of? It's hard to remember now that this is so ubiquitous at every kind of store, and I almost skipped this picture as a result, but it's an interesting reminder of how quickly things can change, and just like the drive-through testing facility on the other side of the mall, it captures the specific feel of the early post-pandemic years. Heck, according to the sign in the previous picture, you could even order food from the Nordstrom restaurant for curbside pickup -- I can't imagine they're doing that any longer!
