Andronico's was one of the things I was pretty excited about seeing on my California trip two years ago, so I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to post this, but here we go! This store was built in the late 50s or early 60s, and seems to be the flagship location for Andronico's; it never got the short-lived Safeway Community Markets rebrand that Safeway tried out after buying Andronico's in 2016. Andronico's is now operated as a semi-independent division that seems to largely make its own choices when it comes to decor and selection, similar to Haggen, United, and (in recent years) Acme, and has even opened several new stores in recent years, generally keeping to smaller-format stores.
