Stepping inside

Inside, we're greeted by a pair of surveillance monitors, one dead and the other showing the parking lot -- definitely a bit strange, and makes me wonder if this store has trouble with car break-ins. (At least I don't have to worry about blurring myself out of these screens!) They're accompanied by a less-cringeworthy-than-average Sincerely sign and some seriously disgusting ceiling tiles that probably haven't been cleaned since this store's last remodel. That was back in the Industrial Circus/Broadway era, which is why I stopped by this store -- it may be old hat to some of you, but this is the first (and probably only) time for me to see this decor.

Lol, aside from those ceiling tiles, what really grabs my attention is that Produce sign. Yes, it looks like late 1990s clipart, but aside from that, it also looks like the logo for Lowe's Market (the supermarket chain in Texas and New Mexico, not the North Carolina supermarket): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lowe's_Market

    1. Interesting! I didn't know there was a second grocery chain called Lowe's. That logo looks even more outdated than this decor!
