I've seen liquor excluded from some store closing sales, but here it was given one of the higher discounts, at 10%. Milk was the only thing that seemed to be completely excluded, something I often see but which never makes sense since milk goes on sale all the time.
At the recent Winn-Dixie closings, they started alcohol at 35% off almost from the start of the closing process. I thought that was oddly generous for that category so early on, especially with the other discounts in the store not being very impressive.
