Look, a map

The staircase down to the parking garage contains the one major piece of local flair in this store, a giant map showing Queen Anne and surrounding neighborhoods. I was particularly excited to see this one because, rather than just barely being cut off like happens in so many decorative maps I've seen, my home is actually within the area of this map! I live right below the P in Olympic, towards the left side of the picture. 

I should have actually gone inside and gotten a picture of this from the staircase, but I was getting tired of the madhouse that was this store on opening day. I suppose I could go back (this store isn't exactly far from me), but this is supposed to be a grand opening set. And I'm not sure if I could even get a good photo angle in the narrow staircase. Maybe more pictures from this store will show up as filler some day... who knows.
