Wonder what this used to be

There's clearly nothing left from Kmart in here, but this picture still has a bit of a Kmart vibe to it with the obvious closed, disused space of some sort just inside the doors. I have no idea what this once was, but it really sticks out in what's otherwise a clean and freshly-remodeled store -- especially the serious tile scar on the floor, since the rest of the store has surprisingly decent concrete floors, despite what its history might make you think!
