Southcenter has a lot of newer, local tenants, meaning it has a lot of interesting modern storefronts that aren't the same ones you'd find at pretty much every mall. Right outside of Sears is one of my favorites, belonging to Kizuki, a local chain of Japanese restaurants (though they have locations as far away as Chicago and Houston).
