This store looks like a lot of other stores from this era -- lots of windows, flagstone walls, and a plain, monolithic canopy running all the way along the front. The windows are nice, but otherwise, this definitely isn't my favorite era for grocery store design! It probably looked better originally, without the strong tint on the windows and the beige paint on the flagstone, but it's still a massive downgrade from the Marina stores Safeway was building just a few years earlier.
