Some random "making moments matter" signs were left hanging over empty space over by the entryway, which feels all too appropriate for Sears. By the way, my parents still have and use one of those Shop Your Way credit cards -- they still exist, but I'm pretty sure Shop Your Way has no connection to Sears any longer (and they probably didn't have much connection back in 2021 either, considering that Sears and Kmart are the second-lowest rewards category listed!).
I still get the Shop Your Way emails sent to me even though I haven't used my account since 2021 (the last time I was in a Sears or Kmart), but I can't even remember the last time either of those brands were mentioned in one of those emails. Ironically, I see more advertisements for walmart.com in the Shop Your Way emails these days!
ReplyDeleteTheir website features Walmart very prominently too! Meanwhile, Sears and Kmart only appear in the fine print... though I suppose it's not like Kmart and Walmart are real competitors any longer.
