What?

And even more strangely, why were they featuring Lifestyle v3 (a decor package that the Seattle Division had stopped using years prior), while using the early-Modern graphic design style (black and white with script and chalkboard fonts)? This is quite odd, especially considering that neither of the remodels that I lived through at my local stores (Ballard in 2019 and Pinehurst in 2020) had anything of the sort.

Ha, I know you like to complain about Lifestyle v3, but I much prefer the Lifestyle v3 cursive text to the cursive text on those signs! That text looks like something Brookshire Brothers here in Texas would use or something like that. I don't think Safeway/Albertsons would consider themselves to be in the same league as Brookshire Brothers, a grocer mainly serving small towns in East/Central Texas, so, yeah!

While I've seen renovation chalkboards at Randall's renovations, I can't say they have actual decor package photos. In this case, inaccurate renovation photos! I would have rather have had the Lifestyle v3! I wonder if they sent those cards to the Portland Division, they could still use them there!

    1. Yeah, I've never much liked this graphic design style. It was originally introduced alongside Modern, but it really doesn't go with any of the design elements of that package that I like so much.
