As always, following the flow around the pharmacy island drops you into the deli. Save Mart hardly changed anything here apart from adding some purple paint and a few small signs. Does anyone know if that "Cold Beverages To Go" sign is from Albertsons or Save Mart? I'm leaning towards the latter since I've never seen it in any coverage of other Grocery Palace stores, but I also haven't ever seen it in another Save Mart.
I've never seen that "Cold Beverages to Go" sign, but it looks very much in the style of Grocery Palace. I have seen different signs at Albertsons in the past that used the phrasing "Enjoy a Cold Beverage While You Shop" though, which would also make me lean Albertsons.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I don't remember seeing signs like this at Albertsons, but I didn't shop at Albertsons all that much in the era when this must have been from, and maybe they only emphasized it in stores in warmer areas than Washington!
