Pure alcohol

 

Moving down the line, we find the combined dairy and alcohol department. It's actually pretty common for these departments to be next to one another at Safeways, but they aren't normally in the same aisle! (Sure, they are in my local store, but nothing about that store is normal... in fact, Safeway has made even more strange layout changes there since we last saw it.) The cases are back to that non-Safeway-standard style again, so this is probably all Max Foods again.
