The left side of the store is lined with frozen cases, always a weird sight at a Safeway. They look much older than I would expect from a 1993-built store -- I guess Olson Foods wasn't interested in buying fancy modern stuff for their fancy modern Max Foods stores! I've seen similar cases at some older Safeways, but those were much older stores than this one. It's also strange to see the unopened shipping boxes of patio furniture on top of the cases -- I normally only see unboxed and assembled products on display. (I wonder if the cases are structurally rated to hold the load of a whole line of these boxes...)
