This picture was taken about another five minutes after the last time we checked in on the clock, and it moved about another five minutes forward, so it seems to be working mostly fine -- it just needs to be adjusted to the correct time! I wonder how many decades it's been since someone bothered setting this clock correctly, and if it's one of those things that requires some obscure bit of 90s technology that no one has any longer (I remember that being a problem with the bell system at my high school at some point when I was there, except the technology it used was probably even older than that!). I guess this clock is just for decoration these days, like the ones that Safeway stores used to have.
