Luckily, I took a picture of the restaurant area on my December 2018 visit that shows the area behind the vegetation a bit clearer. Again, it's very similar to Tacoma, just scaled down a bit (which is a little surprising, since this store seems to have been the Bon Marche's suburban flagship of sorts). The idea of eating dinner at a department store still seems a bit odd to me, but this looks like it would once have been a really nice place -- it's a shame to see how far downhill it has gone.
