Nordstrom sits in the northwest corner, the closest part of the mall to the freeway junction that's the whole reason this place was built. You can kind of see I-5 on the hillside behind the giant triangular Westfield sign. This mall was one of the three built by the Bon Marche's parent company, but in all three of them, the Bon Marche didn't get prominent placement -- Northgate and Tacoma both had their space hidden around the back, while Southcenter has it on the side (highly visible from the street, but not from the freeways). I've always found that a little odd.
