If this is backstage, I guess that's the stage

The Backstage area is only accessible through the two hallways connecting it to the main store; it does have its own registers (as seen in the previous picture), but I'm guessing you can still buy Backstage products at the regular checkouts. Strangely, the are on the right of this picture has newer tile rather than the worn-out carpet the rest of the area has. Off in the background, I must have missed that CRT surveillance monitor hanging from the ceiling or I'm sure I would have taken a closer-up photo of it!
