I'm sorry for the never-ending negativity today, but I really don't have anything positive to say about this part of the store. Backstage has its own dedicated checkout area, lined with random impulse buys in the tradition of every discount store ever, along with an overstuffed coat rack that looks like it belongs at Goodwill. The grey paint and excessive accent lighting looks like a bad attempt to copy Target's infamously grey decor packages of recent years.
Hey, you could have been trendy and bought those grey camouflage shorts so you could have blended in with Macy's Backstage's walls! On second thought, there's probably a good reason why those camouflage shorts ended up in the clearance department. There probably isn't a good reason for the grey walls, lol.
