The opening the ramp passes through looks pretty tight up close, too! The glass railing panels projecting out from the structure make it even narrower, and it looks like one of the panels cracked at some point (though what looks like a shattered panel on the far right is just a reflection of plastic packaging on the left, I think). I think the low slope of the ramp (compared to an escalator), which means it doesn't pass through the floor structure as quickly, is probably what makes this look so strange to me.
