As expected, the narrow back aisle, and the old dairy cases lining it, were left largely untouched in the remodel -- Safeway even left the nice beige vinyl flooring in place this time (perhaps because it extends into the aisles here rather than just being around the perimeter). I'm surprised that they decided to add a restroom sign pointing into the back room -- so many stores around here are giving up on public restrooms, so it's interesting to see this store going the other way and making its restrooms more publicly accessible (or at least more obvious).
