More treadmills than I would ever want

I used to like the idea of indoor exercise equipment, but these days I'd rather just get up and go outside. Yes, even when it's raining -- less so when it's above 80 degrees, though! All of the yellow tags look like clearance, but it appears that they were just promoting a holiday sale on all of this stuff.

Some Sears locations around here put more effort into giving each department an appropriate floor color for the department than others. It looks like this Sears put more effort into making the fitness section look like a gym or basketball court. It looks pretty good compared to my location where sporting goods just had a plain space near hardware. In fact, I think it used to be the paint department at one time, but then paint moved across the hallway and then was eliminated entirely.

Some Sears stores around here even had green vinyl floors for the outdoor power equipment department, though I think the eventual trend was to use a green plastic floor mat to simulate grass. Anyway, there was some subtle effort to make each department look appropriate for what was being sold.

    1. Unfortunately, the exercise department was really the only one at this store with this sort of special flooring. I don't think I've seen a Sears with that green vinyl flooring -- the green and red plastic mats are the classic Sears lawn department fixtures for me!
