Despite all of Sears' well-known woes, they still had a pretty well-stocked appliance section in 2018. Sure, there were some obvious holes, but it still took up a significant portion of the third floor, and it appears that all of the units on display were actually display units, rather than there just being a bunch of back stock filling in space on the salesfloor.
