The meat department is another one that got to keep its Grocery Palace wall tile, though this is one place where Grocery Palace was extremely inconsistent and this isn't a design I would particularly associate with that package. The randomly-scattered tiles look more like something that Publix would have done in the 2010s! At least this pattern looks significantly less dated than what we saw in the deli.
Yeah, I could picture that tile in a CM 2.x Publix. Another similarity is that this tile is actually in a repeating pattern rather than being totally random!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if the tile comes pre-arranged into the "random" pattern, like a lot of tile you can buy for home use does!
DeleteThat would make sense; my only hesitation is how large the tile sheets would need to be! I know for Evergreen, Publix just uses a tile design found on the vendor's website.
